Teriyaki Boy: Another Restaurant for My Green Tea Ice Cream Dessert Cravings

I have several comfort foods that instantly make me smile - one of them is Green Tea Ice Cream. Yes, the traces of Chinese blood in me is kicking in. :P

Last Tuesday, I had lunch with my friends in Teriyaki Boy, Alpha Land Mall. I arrived late so my friend later on had to rush back to work. I decided to stay for awhile and try out the restaurant's new desserts. I looked to my left and I felt my heart race as I saw a picture of the glorious Green Tea Ice Cream on their table standee! WOHOO! :) Another restaurant with Green Tea Ice Cream! :D YEAH! Haha, I'm such an impulse buyer :P

Izakaya Kikufuji Japanese Restaurant: Internship Days Flashback

Back in 2008, I decided to push back one summer subject to make room for internship. My course didn't require summer internships but I wanted to experience one anyway.
It's been two years since I last saw my partner intern so we decided to have a mini reunion in Kikufuji Japanese Restaurant in Little Tokyo, Makati. I have never heard of this place before until I saw Mrs. Martinez's blog entry on the restaurant a few days before the reunion. I'm a big fan of Japanese food and Mrs. Martinez's blog entry made me even more excited about our reunion.

8065 Bagnet: Innovating the Famous Ilocano Chicharon

It's been exactly one week since I ate in this hole in the wall (I love hole in the wall places!) restaurant that I instantly fell in love with.

Last Saturday, I went to Makati to visit my friend Ton for our weekly HTML & CSS lessons. Yes, I study HTML & CSS for fun. I'm a self confessed nerd. Haha.

Anyway, he was asking me where I wanted to eat for lunch, "Gusto mo itry yung Bagnet? Kapatid ni Kitchie Nadal may ari nun." (Translation: "Do you want to try Bagnet? The sibling of Kitchie Nadal owns the place.") (Note: Kitchie Nadal is a Filipina rocker singer/songwriter) I had no clue what Bagnet (sorry Ilocanos, haven't been there!) was at that time but hey, if it's related to Kitchie Nadal, why not? Fan girl Smarla!
