Mercato Centrale: 10 Food, Blogging & Bonding Reasons for Me to Wake Up Early

I love Sunday mornings!

After every Sunday mass, our family would gather around the table and have coffee and bread together.
Yesterday, we decided to extend our family bonding to Fort Bonifacio (a.k.a. Bonifacio Global City) as we explored the new weekend market in town, Mercato Centrale

Cello's Doughnuts and Dips: Soft, Sweet, Unique - Perfect Doughnuts!

Okay, I'll admit, I'm not a big fan of doughnuts. I usually take just one bite and then share it with someone since I usually find doughnuts too sweet and/or "nakaka-umay."
However, when Cello's Doughnuts and Dips came into the picture, I instantly became a doughnut convert.

We Could Be McDonald's Endorsers Now

There's only one word to describe last Friday: crazy
Extreme emotions were fluttering inside me all throughout the day: sadness, doubt, frustration, deep joy, excitement - all rolled in one day. It was a busy week and I constantly felt I was floundering to get on top of things. As the week was coming to an end, all I really wanted was to enjoy my event on Friday evening. My mind was dead set on having a great night. However, life doesn't always give you what you want on a silver platter.

Tsoko.Nut: Peanuts in My Coffee, Sounds Good to Me!

Last September, we brought our cousin to Robinsons Galleria so he could play Warhammer with his friends. After observing them "play" for 30 minutes, I gave up trying to comprehend the game. Note: I used "play" because bulk of the time they were placing then removing then putting back the figures in their war field. It was then I realized that I'm a nerd and not a geek. :P

My head started spinning from really trying to understand the game. It's that complicated - even the players can't explain the rules. They always need a rule master who calls the shots.

I needed coffee to relax so we tried out this new coffee shop called, Tsoko.Nut Batirol. We love the Chocnut peanut chocolate treat so we were sure we're going to love their coffee!

The Random Oreo Story

Back in 2nd year college, I shared a locker with a friend in school. If you've seen how many books I used carry in school, I'm sure you'll be more than willing to give me a locker. :P

Dunkin Donuts: My Childhood Restaurant Love for Egg n' Cheese Bunwich

Whenever I hear Dunkin Donuts, two things come to mind:

1. Christian Bautista's Dunkin Donuts Concert
Remember 5-7 years ago, when Christian Bautista was just starting out (and he's not yet buff like in his Gold's Gym posters), he had his first Araneta concert with the help of Dunkin Donuts. I wanted to much to go because Gary V was going to be in the concert (sorry Christian!). This was really a memorable concert for me because of my siblings. This is a whole different story which I will share in another entry. For now, let's focus on my Egg & Cheese Bunwich. :)

2. My Childhood Restaurant Love for Egg & Cheese Bunwich

Growing up, there used to be a nearby Dunkin Donuts restaurant from the Church we go to every Sunday. Right after mass, we would always go to Dunkin Donuts as a whole family and order the same thing: Egg & Cheese Bunwich and Grape JuiceYes, we did this every weekend and we loved it. Plus, they had a playground area so we really loved this place.
