Talk in De La Salle University and Miriam College

It's like oral exams all over again! :) Except I'm talking about food and leadership rather than Theology and Philosophy.

Gary Valenciano, even after several years, you still make me giddy :)

So far, Gary Valenciano is the only guy who can make me feel giddy every single time - even after seven years.

One Tree Hill: Sometimes, all you need is ONE

Did you go through the One Tree Hill frenzy as well?

Aside from having the best soundtrack, thanks to Peyton's character, One Tree Hill also has one of the most insightful scripts. In fact, there are so many quotable quotes sprinkled throughout the seasons.

We Could Be McDonald's Endorsers Now

There's only one word to describe last Friday: crazy
Extreme emotions were fluttering inside me all throughout the day: sadness, doubt, frustration, deep joy, excitement - all rolled in one day. It was a busy week and I constantly felt I was floundering to get on top of things. As the week was coming to an end, all I really wanted was to enjoy my event on Friday evening. My mind was dead set on having a great night. However, life doesn't always give you what you want on a silver platter.

Hachiko: A Dog's Tale - The Movie That Never Fails to Make Me Cry

Have you guys watched Hachiko: A Dog's Tale?

If you haven't, what's wrong with you?? Kidding! :) But seriously, you have to watch this movie. I watched this movie 3x on the same day and I cried 3x. In fact, every time I watch it, I still cry. They have a great dog actor! Hahaha.

The Best Get Well Soon Gift

I was supposed to meet a good friend of mine last Thursday but he texted me four days prior to our meet up that he's sick and he couldn't come anymore. I got worried and started asking how he's doing, where he is confined, etc. He told me the hospital but he didn't disclose his symptoms.

When I asked if I could visit him, he told me that there's no need to do so. I wasn't quite sure if it's just a polite way of saying no. After debating with myself whether I should visit him or not, I finally decided that I should at least drop by and leave a get well soon gift. It's not intrusive but at the same time, it's still thoughtful.

It's a simple gift but I think it's the best get well soon gift for him. :)

Update on the Kythe Real Love Shirt Contest

When I got back from my Palawan trip over the weekend, I saw a small mail package on my bed. It was from Ms. Janette Toral! She sent me my own Team Manila Real Love shirt for running the contest in my blog. Yaaaay! I wore it yesterday when I went out:

Tsoko.Nut: Peanuts in My Coffee, Sounds Good to Me!

Last September, we brought our cousin to Robinsons Galleria so he could play Warhammer with his friends. After observing them "play" for 30 minutes, I gave up trying to comprehend the game. Note: I used "play" because bulk of the time they were placing then removing then putting back the figures in their war field. It was then I realized that I'm a nerd and not a geek. :P

My head started spinning from really trying to understand the game. It's that complicated - even the players can't explain the rules. They always need a rule master who calls the shots.

I needed coffee to relax so we tried out this new coffee shop called, Tsoko.Nut Batirol. We love the Chocnut peanut chocolate treat so we were sure we're going to love their coffee!

Up: Live a Life of Adventure!

Have you guys watched the movie UP by Pixar
If you haven't, you've literally missed half of your life! The first few minutes of the film didn't have any dialogue but it was so powerful that it made me cry. Imagine, it was only the start of the movie and I was already crying!
